Peach State Health Plan ABA therapy coverage in Georgia

Your Peach State coverage, explained

Insurance jargon should never stand between your child and excellent ABA therapy. That's why we handle your coverage, your authorization, and every step in between, so all you have to focus on is your child.

Does Peach State Health Plan cover ABA therapy in Georgia?

Yes, currently, though this plan is being phased out

Peach State Health Plan has covered ABA therapy for eligible Georgia Medicaid members under 21 for years.

An important update: in January 2026, the Georgia Department of Administrative Services confirmed that Peach State did not receive a new Medicaid contract in the state's latest procurement. Georgia Medicaid is transitioning roughly 1.1 million members off Peach State and Amerigroup onto CareSource, Humana, Molina, or UnitedHealthcare. If you're currently on Peach State, your coverage is expected to change, and we'll help you figure out exactly what that means and when.
